Mission

Our mission is to lead all generations into the transforming love of God, equipping disciples to bring renewal and hope to Durham and the world.

Recently, Union Baptist Church has:

• Partnered with the Law Offices of James Rogers to provide more than 3000 gifts to families in need during the Christmas season
• Assisted families and individuals with temporary housing and rent payments ($7,000.00)
• Provided $1,000.00 in grocery store gift card to families in need
• Served more than 6,000 hot meals to more than 900 families and individuals since May 2, 2020
• Partnered with Vample’s Food Truck to provide more than 500 meals to children in the Walltown and Carver Ponds Communities
• Provided over 1,000 can goods to the Durham Center for Senior Life
• Provided more than 1,500 can goods and other items to Families Moving Forward
• Helped to provide more the 250 meals to Durham Neighbors Free Lunch Initiative with a gift in the amount of $1,000.00
• Distributed care bags to the homeless and others in need
• Provided over $7,000 in gift cards to over 150 children in support of the Angel Tree initiative
