Evangelist Linda M. Simms is a woman who loves to worship the Lord through the written Word of God and song. She served in several leadership roles as Sunday School Superintendent, District Union Secretary, Youth Department Director, and Administrative Assistant to Pastor and First Lady Rouse at Macedonia Baptist Church, Piscataway, NJ , Vice President of Trustee Board and choir member. In 2001, Linda felt the Lord tugging at her heart to return to school and seek a degree in Biblical Studies. She attended Somerset Christian College for one year. Evangelist Simms accepted the calling on her life and preached her Initial Sermon on December 28, 2003 in Leland, NC where she had relocated and was ordained on June 20, 2004. She served under the pastoral leadership of Apostle Anthony Richburg at Salvation and Deliverance Family Worship Center. She was appointed the Women’s Ministry Leader and founded “Women of Grace Ministry”, a faith based community outreach ministry enrichment program that enlightens, encourages and embraces women in their uniqueness.
She completed some courses at St. Paul’s Bible Institute and has completed three years at Capella University seeking a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. In 2012, the Lord ordered her steps and she relocated to Durham, NC. Currently, she serves on the ministerial staff of Union Baptist Church in Durham, NC under the tutelage of Senior Pastor Kenneth Hammond. Linda served as Interim Director of the “Women of Spirit” Women’s Ministry. As Evangelist Simms continues to walk into the destiny God has ordained for her life she quotes Psalms 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
